Title: 17 ins studio display

Now have 17 ins studio display up and running with G4 (mirrored doors) can this screen be made to work  with beige G3? is there a workaround?

Maybe. For a high price.

There's Dr. Bott's DVIator for $150.

Then you'd need a new Video Card with DVI connection.

At least $150, if there is a PCI version. Not sure.

For this $300 plus you might as well get an LCD with an Analog connection.
