Title: Stanford prototype of easy to disassemble and recycle laptop

Laptops are challenging to work on for the most part.  I can remember some as easier and some almost diabolically difficult to work on.  A team of engineers from Stanford University & Aalto University in Finland have been prototyping a laptop that is extremely easy to work on and recycle:

Interesting - the second laptop in the smartplanet vid appears to be a Mac, and the Bloom prototype certainly looks a lot like a Mac!

But, but, if you make it too easy to repair then Apple would lose lots of $ on upgraders ... rolleyes.gif
