Today in Mac History: On March 2, 1987, Apple introduced the Macintosh II, the first color and expandable "Open Mac." http://ow.ly/3jbqo
My first Mac was a 512Ke which had a B&W display. My first color Mac was an LCII.

...Mac IIse?...but the best Apple product, up until then, was the Portrait grey-scale monitor!! Displayed the complete 8.5 by 11 inch 'paper!' WOW! I had resisted even color monitor with the ][e just because I didn't play gamesand that monitor was proof that the Mac wasn't just a toy! Of course, the ImageWriter didn't do printing much better than previous dot matrix printers...
Heard something today that made me feel old! "The kids don't know what the old way was because "change" is all they know!"
