No one asks for this disease. No one "does" anything that "gives" them this disease. It happens because your body rebels over something and that's that. It took me a while to get past the "It's my fault" when I was diagnosed, and I still have days that I wonder "what if"; but I'm fortunate because my family and friends never said to my face (or printed on the net) any accusations, or stoooopid comments about how I had the wrong perspective when I was diagnosed and then chose my treatment and life style path. Honestly. These folks should be hung up by their thumbs for a while. edited to add: BTW, my rant isn't directed at anyone here. I'm ranting at a few of the folks quoted in that article -- and much of it is laughable.
