Title: SuperMac Monitor
Post by: Steve keen on July 01, 2003, 02:07:35 PM
Anyone know if a 19inch SuperMac monitor used with my Powermac 8100 should work with a Windows PC, i have supplied my brother with a high density lead terminating to Red,Green,Blue and Horizontal and Vertical BNC's which connects to the mointor, the picture just rolls and has lines on the  monitor display.
He has set the control panel to 19inch and 75hz.
Any ideas anyone

Is this the one you have?

Looks like the frequency is set too high. It's a fixed frequency monitor - 60MHz.

More - these people claim that you will need either a new connector or new video card:

This is not a particularly great monitor - I wouldn't spend any serious money on trying to get it to work - much better to spend the money on a good used 17" model which can be had pretty cheaply these days.
