Although FedEx used Heathrow right after we bought Flying Tigers, we used Stansted during most of my flights. And then there's Gatwick. If I were in control, I'd simply keep raising the landing fees at Heathrow until the traffic decreased to match the current capacity. Any 'profit' would be used to upgrade/expand either of the other two. Of course, those living around Gatwick and Stansted might not appreciate that plan... OTOH, I've never had too much sympathy for people who move/buy housing near an airport. There's a reason the prices are often lower. Thinking.gif

My high school girlfriend had so much trouble dealing with aircraft noise that she wrote a version of Peter and the Wolf that featured the noise as the wolf!  It kind of worked at the high school musical level!
