<Driver jailed after filming himself driving at 192mph>
With his daughter on board, no less!!!
-
The official word for him is.....
TWUNT!
-
I'll take your word for that. The least offensive 'definition' I could find was "an extremely offensive" person. None of the others would be suitable at TS. Nor did they seem appropriate to this male.
The word was usually described as a combination of two words, one of which might be a derivative of "Twit" which I often associate with "stupid" and, therefore a widely used "social" "communication" "service".
As with most slang creations, the word will probably lose its power once it becomes more well known or more commonly used. Oh well...
I just hope a few idiots realize the difference between a "public road/highway" and a "speedway/race track"! The former requires very few skills, the latter is restricted users of proven qualifications and appropriate hardware.

Our new home is 20 miles from Northampton - about 50 minutes drive for most of us, about 7 minutes if he could do that speed all the way. The roundabouts and artics (articulated lorries, or what you call semi-trailers) would slow him up a bit

Seriously, the word cretin is too good for him and his death-wish daughter, who was encouraging him. However, it was considerate of him to provide photo evidence for the fuzz ;-)
For the record, national speed limit in the UK is 70mph on motorways and dual carriageways and 60mph on single carriageways. And the Silverstone F1 race track is in Northamptonshire where, as you observe, only suitably qualified drivers are allowed.
And, Frances, I'd never heard of that one...

The mot juste, I think!

OH, what a perfect word for some of our American Celebrities!
