Besides, AdBlock + has a 'whitelist' function, so you don't have to completely turn it off. I'm also using <Wipr> on the Mac, just noticed I can also install it on my iDevices...
I gave this a try in Safari and discovered it was blocking frames from displaying correctly. Since it's a site that I visit daily (sometimes more often, depends on the weather), it means I won't be using Wipr. Here's the site in question if you want to give it a try, just click on anyone of the temps and you'll find a frame shows up below with more information:

Well, I have Wipr enabled but not AdBlock (2.57) and I think I'm seeing what you call a 'frame'. I clicked on the "57" near the Waldport and got this disaply.
Is this the 'frame' you're talking about? — Wipr Enabled/AdBlock Disabled
I think it must be another setting somewhere.
PS: The data appears to be a bit delayed. I looked at this 'frame' and see it's reporting 81 at 8:54pm. EDIT: That link goes back to your original location so I just grabbed a shot of the frame for my PWS. The temps are now matching. I also see that they are using CWOP data to which I send my data.
But it looks like that is my PWS and my console is reporting 79. Not sure why they have my station, there are several dozen in the area as you can see on <this map>. Zoom IN quite a bit and check the "Temperature" box on the right-hand menu.
We now return you to the previously scheduled discussion on iOS 9.3.4.

No. The frame I'm talking about is found below. The little window says "Tabular data available below", and below is where you'll find the frame of data. I'm about to leave for church, but later today I'll post some screen shots and show you how it looks.

I'm leaving, also. That "table" doesn't work with Wipr enabled. I'll try it with it off. later... No change. Both AdBlock and Wipr disabled and the "Tabular data..." is still not a link as far as Safari is concerned. I suspect it is one of the 28 javascripts? It may be also require having different options checked in the left-hand menu.

This is how the page normally works in Safari:

With Wipr enabled, this is the result:

I don't click on "tabular data below". I click on whatever area I want info for, and then scroll the page and all the data is on the bottom of the page. BTW, I run AdBlockPlus.

Well, DUH! I love it when things appear off window! Frankly, I never thought of looking down there.
OK! There is more info down there than I can display with my window almost full height! I tend not to bother with past data, probably comes from needing more current and future info when flying. Past data is like runway behind you or altitude above you: not too useful.
Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to make the page open at least in the same State as I live in! The url has some Lat/Log info embedded in it for the western US. Changing those to my own doesn't seem to affect how/where the page opens. I've emptied Safari caches, shut down/restarted Safari, nothing seems to get through to the server.
Perhaps we should grab all these posts about weather and dump them into a separate, new thread? I think I can handle that. Tomorrow or the next day.

Past data vs present: because I live on the left coast, I like to look back and see the wind gusts as well as recent rainfall. Maybe someday I'll get a fancy weather system for my yard and then I'll have live as it happens data.

Nope. I already tried doing that. It still opens showing the left coast. No biggy, got other real work to do!
Just finished running a sewer snake down the drains in Olivia's new bath room. Since her Sister and her Mom moved out, she decided she like having access to a bathroom without having to walk across the hall... in the DARK! I ran the snake in the other bathroom after her Mom moved out. Two long-haired ladies created a lot of 'stuff' in the drains!!! We painted the 'new' room a week ago, I rented a Rug Doctor Saturday and now the drains work better! That's my birthday 'gift' to her, which was Saturday, which she chose to spend with her boyfriend!

xABD, I did figure out the problem for a map of your neck of the woods: this particular site/map was (apparently) created by the NW office of NOAA and was designed for the use of us left coasters. While you can click on the map and adjust and scroll to see the entire US, it's main purpose is or us'n here on the beautiful west coast.
I'm still puzzled as to why Wipr screws up the frame. Wondering if it sees it as an ad?

I finally found the "error of my ways"! Well, at least as it applies to the link problem...
In all my previous attempts and in your own link, we both had used: "&basemap=OpenStreetMap"
It turns out that Mesonet has different values/keywords for different parts of the country, or at least one other value: "&basemap=ESRI"
<This link> should bring up a map with my PWS centered in the map! I think it has something to do with you and 'mesonet' being in the west.
