Title: Cinnamon Crunch recipe request
Post by: Highmac on September 23, 2016, 02:55:03 AM
On a UK forum...
QUOTE
Cinnamon Crunch. Do any of our US members have a recipe for this delicacy. I have found one or two on the web but don't match what is expected of taste. My son's girlfriend is touring the USA and reported to my son this delicious addition to ice cream.

So can anybody help with this quest for an American treat?

I've offered to post any responses on that forum. If anyone wants to reply personally, however - or has questions - the link's here.

I'll ask my wife. But the name is actually used by a mostly children's cereal, widely available at any grocery store. My 'recipe' involves adding just enough milk (2% preferred) to cover the cereal! No sugar needed (there's more than enough 'built-in!)! wink.gif

That makes more sense:

with these 2 being the recipes I'd try:

This last link has info on creating the chocolate cinnamon crunch (I think it was the last 2 paragraphs in the recipe), which could be made and sprinkled and over any store bought ice cream.
