Sometimes, printing a web page results in overlapping or garbled text. A case in point is this page at Chewy.com. Creating and printing a screenshot works, but you can't scroll down to other pages from a screenshot. I realized that a viable workaround is to go to File > Export as PDF (this is in Safari, of course). Then, open the PDF in Preview and it prints perfectly from there.

Thanks! I think I may have done that recently accidentally!

A user-friendly, not to mention well designed, site will have a separate stylesheet for printing and provide a handy link to it. It's normally fairly easy to create by deleting much of the 'flashy' styles.
But too many shopping sites don't want you using their info easily, as you might compare prices!!!
Or they just don't want to test their sites in anything other than Exploder or it's new name Edge (I think).
Another way might be to use the "Reader" function in Safari. Of course, you'll lose all the wonderfully helpful images and ads...

I didn't notice this one, but Im glad you put the tip up.
I use this site to order Lilly's food sometimes.

This FTM thread has some insight into this issue.

Just realized I could post over there! So I did. WOW! What a concept! But I really don't care for their forum software... Oh well, they have at least one intelligent poster, no names, of course!
