My better half refuses to touch this machine, even after I set up her own account. She prefers her imac on 9.
I would like to eliminate her account from 10.2.6 but I do not have the authority altho I am admin.
I seem to recall the subject coming up on Ts some time ago, but have been unable to locate the thread. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This technique frequently works-
1. Open NetInfo Manager in your Applications/Utilities folder.
2. Click the lock to make changes and enter your administrator password at the prompt.
3. Choose/click/highlight "users" from the middle column.
4. From the third column select/highlight the User Name (wife) you wish to delete.
5. Click the delete button at the top.
That's it.

Thanks Kelly and Pendragon. Before you could answer I downloaded Cocktail and it did the job I also change my admin password so that stubborn old heifer can never use this machine, even after I die.

gmann, Unless you used OpenFirmware, anyone with an OS install disk can enter your machine, change the password, and enjoy the good life. uh, er not that life would be very good without you...
