Title: Lost posts on label generating software for OS X
Post by: MamaMoose on July 28, 2003, 03:56:08 AM
Some time ago, there was a thread discussing what label program to use in OS X since the standard, Avery MacLabel Pro is an OS 9 product.

Somehow I cannot find the thread that discussed the various options one had available for label generating software in OS X.

I need to generate  postacrds (that will have my new address) and I tried to use MacLabel Pro 1.7.1 and then to import graphics genereated in OS X (I downloaded a .pict cartoon). Unfortuantely, MLP will not import any graphic generated in OS X. I used Graphic Converter, Canvas, etc. with no luck.

So, I need some suggestions to print, in OS X, Avery 4"x6" postcard blanks. Any ideas. Or, can someone tell me the uRL of the thread I mentioned above. I searched high and low for it but no luck.

Thanks,

MamaMoose

If I recall correctly (How's that for a premise?), you have M$ Office X. If so:
1. Open a Word document, go to Tools/Labels
2. Click on the Options button
3. Choose "Avery Standard" from the drop down menu
4. Select 5389-Post Card (4" x 6").

There ya go!
