Title: Remote Access Status
Post by: Frano on July 28, 2003, 02:25:21 PM
Often when I am playing a game or doing some work off line, Remote Access Status starts dialing. During that time I cannot move mouse or type. When it connects nothing opens, and I can go back to my work. What causes that? I am using System 9.2.2 with an iMac DVD about 3 years old.

If it always happens at the same time each day, check whether Software Update is set to log on automatically at a set time. That's the only thing I can think of, but I'm sure others more savvy than me may have other suggestions.

Check your remote access control panel or your TTP cp settings.

welcome.gif  to TS! If it's not Software Update, it could be a utility application doing a scheduled test.
