I still have an open thread on the other side about a replacement for my iMac. Yesterday the 24/7/365 Mac mini 'lost' its video. I also decided to retire a couple of 8 year old drives...
Bottom line, I'm giving up on Apple. They just don't make them like they did when I bought my Apple ][. I still miss those 5 inch floppies and the noise from the drives (I think there were a pair of miniature mice in there)! But it was always capable of using a 1/4 inch tape cassette.
I've talked it over with my financial advisor and my therapist and she agrees that I'm under too much stress with my electronic devices.
I'll probably visit here every week or two. Have lots of great memories of some strange personalities! But the help has been priceless! Hope you all continue to enjoy your Apple products! I'll still recommend this site for those looking for help, also!

And I knew this, as the sun still appeared in the East and I didn’t fly off into the Great Beyond as Mom Earth still spins on her slightly tilted axis....although I started to have a slight doubt, as it feels, slightly, as though Hades has frozen over..... but then realized I was still in MN...
