...Feng* cautions if people do start wearing face masks regularly in public, it is important to wear them properly. She notes that the WHO has a video (https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public/when-and-how-to-use-masks) on how to practice correct hygiene when putting on or taking off a mask.* an infectious disease epidemiology researcher at the Oxford Vaccine Group at the University of Oxford
Saskia Popescu, an infectious disease researcher and biodefense consultant is skeptical that healthy members of public need to start wearing masks regularly — she says people should follow current CDC guidelines. But emphasizes that if you are going to wear a mask, "you have to wear it appropriately." That means, she says, "you have to discard it when it gets damp or moist. You want to stop touching the front of it, don't reach under to scratch your nose or mouth." [ :wallbash:  ]
Otherwise she warns, wearing masks could give "a false sense of security."
Went back to the tax preparer yesterday to retrieve my package of data and copies of the tax forms that will get sent in a couple of days.Wait. You *mail* your tax papers? I have my people send everything electronically and I get any refunds (normally) in a few days. I don't spend money on postage, no standing in line at the germ laden PO, total peace of mind. ;) This year I was even able to pay my 2021 state personal taxes electronically. My people set it up and poof bill paid and all done. Of course I did all this back in early March. :p
Of course, I was wearing my nitrile gloves and when I got home I needed to wipe down the package. I used my favorite 'cleaner' in the kitchen; Clorox® Spray Cleanser + Bleach! Normally that goes on the counter tops... If you spray a manila folder you get what appears in the attached image. Now I know why SWMBO says to be careful with that stuff!! :whistling: :doh:LOL! I put all envelopes and cardboard in garage for 24 hours, then go out there and open, dump contents into a clean hamper, toss envelopes/cardboard/paper into recycle bin, come in, wash hands. Wipe down door knobs, grab hamper and bring it in. Wash hands again because I'm paranoid :p and wipe down door knobs again for the same reason. Then I look at what arrived the day before.
