It is currently 14.8°F, light northerly winds, some kind of foreign white, fluffy stuff all over the ground! We are in need of a replacement weather person. The previous job-holder can be found on the horse he rode (in) out on! No Northerners nor Canadians need apply. Prefer Gulf Coast born residents. :wallbash:
Friends, what's wrong with that second image?!  Temperatures are supposed to rise during the day! :fool:  :stop: :swoon:

Welcome to the real world... :)

but... but... We're not supposed to have this kind of "weather" in the "South"!
New annual low temperature record for Local! Previous low was 11.50°F on 2021-02-15 06:36:00 -0600. New low is 10.60°F <Mid-South Weather (http://www.mid-southweather.com/graphs.html)>
Fortunately, the wind is very light.

Now who wants some "real world"?!

That was our one day reprieve. :D
The existing snow on the lawn sank down to about a foot depth after the rain, then subsequent sun (yes, SUN! :coolio: )
We're back in the white stuff Thursday. :whistling:

Well, our bit of snow came and went at the weekend... now 11C (51.8F), "light rain showers and a moderate breeze" from about 2pm. Dry and light cloud at the moment. Latitude 52N.
Shetland - Latitude 60.1N - now 7C (45F), 50mph winds and rain.
-
now 11C (51.8F)
Thanks to our Caribbean neighbors. :thanx:
The Shetlands should have moved when Ireland did several eons ago. Ireland is now even closer to the warm Gulf Stream waters than England! Most people don't know that Ireland used to be north of the Shetlands and Scotland... :WOW:
I'll be trying to clear a bit of snow off the ice-dam area of our roof... just before another 4 inches of snow arrives today. I'm hoping to get the thermometer above 20°F (-6.6C) before going out...
Whenever I start complaining about the Winter weather I just pull up one of the vids from this farmer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGqaVaImqnY) in SW Saskatchewan Canada. :whistling:
Everyone stay warm and safe!!
