I’m hoping one of you is a better detective than I am. I’m trying to find out who owns the domain realsteelcenter dot com . Are they actually a US based company? Are they foreign owned? Searching iCann and godaddy brought me different information. Maybe it’s me, or maybe it’s my ISP blocking things, or …. who knows.
Also, this site: https://uspto.report/TM/90063188
shows a trademark application date of 7/20/20 for a business at
REELSTEEL CENTER, LLC
6603 OVERCREST LANE
PASADENA, TX 77505
But I also see a “live/registered” trademark for a Chinese company, and that’s who I’m seeing in some of the “whois” searches.
How do I find out if this company is a legit US company based in Texas? Help, please.

Wait. Your name and address from 'trademark' name and address shows ReEl Steel. But the second sentence of your post shows a different name: ReEl Steel. Which is it. Real Steel makes steel "monograms". You have their website (https://realsteelcenter.com).
Reel Steel Center is much harder to track down:
1. Domain Tools claims the domain is for sale. (https://whois.domaintools.com/reelsteelcenter.com) On the other hand, it seems to be registered by GoDaddy. Most domain name registrars offer to hide the info of who actually owns a domain. I suspect Domain Tools is simply offering to try to purchase the domain, for a small fee, of course.
2. This company is located in TX: This Corporation Wiki link says they are in Houston, however. (https://www.corporationwiki.com/p/322j7k/realsteel-center-llc)
3. The Texas BBB page (https://www.bbb.org/us/tx/pasadena/profile/metal-fabrication/realsteel-center-llc-0915-90053916) This one IS in Pasadina, TX. But it is the steel 'monogram' making company. :)
4. Using Network Utility.app->Lookup tab, I found three IP Addresses for reelsteelcenter.com:- 213.247.47.190
- 173.239.5.6
- 173.239.8.164
5. I believe their site is hosted at Webair.com (https://ipsnoop.com/173.239.8.164)
6. If I type in "reelsteelcenter.com" in Safari, I get the fake "update Flash Player" junk. 24check.timetoreliabuadbkjbset.work/?b9zd1=T_F654wefj9Dljri8jBoYZAfQ...&qs1=MediaPlayer
7. Some sites suggested that "reelsteelcenter.com" is used by hackers.

Okay ... let's make this easier. ;)
The domain is: realsteelcenter dot com
That's REAL STEEL CENTER
The trademark site is the one that shows an alternate spelling. Forget that link.
I do think the company is legit, but I think the big issue is that they may have a trademark problem. Look at this:
https://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=toc&state=4806%3Agd4dn7.1.1&p_search=searchss&p_L=50&BackReference=&p_plural=yes&p_s_PARA1=&p_tagrepl%7E%3A=PARA1%24LD&expr=PARA1+AND+PARA2&p_s_PARA2=realsteel&p_tagrepl%7E%3A=PARA2%24COMB&p_op_ALL=AND&a_default=search&a_search=Submit+Query&a_search=Submit+Query
If you follow the above link, and click on the first record (for Registration Number 6281475), in there you'll find the trademark application is owned by (and here we'll get reel--as a fishing reel or dance):
Owner (REGISTRANT) ReelSteel Center, LLC LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY TEXAS 6603 Overcrest Lane Pasadena TEXAS 77505
Click on second record (Registration Number 5332458), and you'll see the foreign realsteal, with no fishing reel to be found.
That's the trademark end of it all.
-------
Searching for whois on the domain name:
I used your domain tools site and this came up:
https://whois.domaintools.com/realsteelcenter.com
I get the same info using icann.org

I can't believe I'm spending all this time for a yard decoration for my daughter. ;)

Just for fun, there's also a "Reel Steel Charters (http://their website)" that offers guided fishing in the Great Lakes!! I suppose they are using steel lines because some of the fish (Sturgeon?) are monsters.
I'm not sure how any Trademark problem would affect ordering or buying from the company. :dntknw:
