Title: Too many photo libraries?
Post by: Raven on October 20, 2025, 06:57:50 PM
I upgraded the OS from 12.6.2 on my wife's Mac mini to 26.0.1. First time in years. Her hard drive was getting very full, so I "consulted" with her to delete excess stuff. I did find several photo libraries. See image. Some were "iPhoto" libraries from her previous Mac?
Is there any way to merge these libraries and delete any duplicate images? What's the best procedure to do this? I'm hoping to gain some space.

Merge photo libraries:

Duplicates:

Note, after merging libraries, it may need time to index before finding all the duplicates. Depending on how large the files, it can take quite a while.
