Dubious? A POX on whomever came up with this virus. Each attack is worse than the last one. I'm about to lose my main email address simply because I cannot download the stuff fast enough to keep my mailbox from overflowing. I'm disgusted. I have spaminator turned on with sbc, and it's not working well. I can't get sbc to start blocking this stuff, and that's irritating. I have the rules/filters set up and it keeps sending new stuff that's not covered. I'm going to grow old dealing with this.
Read an article this morning claiming this is terrorism!

Kimmer - I'll second that..
If you are still using OS9.x you might find shareware Popthing useful. Won't stop spam being sent, but does let you check it out (and delete it) while it's still on your ISP's server and before you download it. Being on dial-up myself I find that although sifting through up to 20 emails a day is a chore at least I don't have to wait for them to download. I think other posters have mentioned a similar program for OS.X but can't recall the details.
