"Semi-Officially the end of Summer also."
Tell that to Mr. Sun who keeps blasting away those rays at !00 or better.
Last week SamsClub had a special on Weber barbecues. Was going to get one to replace my ten year old -air conditioned- weber but didn't.
Fired it up lastnight and the bottom did a bomb-ba-dear act. Whole bottom dropped.
SamsClub sold them all. /grumble\
Luckily I have a back up by way of ~~"Yo Bro! Can I borrow ....~"
Coming soon. Almost walking distance. <gr>

Labour Day weekend up here too... it hit just over 80F today... which is phenomenal...
Had a spell of cold last week though... just enough to kind of feel like someone went "na, na-na boo boo" in your face to remind you you're looking down the 7 month long mouth of winter...

Happy Holiday to all from Florida.
If you're looking for something to do before heading back to work, I highly recommend the movie Winged Migration. If it's showing anywhere near you, it's well worth the price of a ticket. Maybe it will get ya looking to the skies as the birds journey south. I know we always look/listen for the first of the Sandhill Cranes. Very good movie..
see ya,

Thanks for the good wishes Kelly! Hope you and all the rest of the TS ers' have a GREAT Holiday.

Hey Kelly, thanks for the thought.
I really appreciate the help you've given me on the CDRW drive.
And so many others who also chimed in. This is a great little neighborhood. You guys are the best!!
I was just up north at my parents' house in Davis, CA (suburb of Sacramento) and the first night, we had a wailing thunderstorm like I've never seen. The thunder was as loud as I've ever heard and it poured all night. I love that kind of weather, so I never slept better! We just don't get that in L.A., so it was a real treat.
Happy Labor Day, everyone!
