Title: THE MOOSE HAS RETURNED
Post by: MamaMoose on September 01, 2003, 11:05:52 PM
Well, we made it. After a very stressful two weeks we have moved into our new home in Beaverton, OR. Moved two cats, several tons of furniture and household items, and ourselves. Right now we have a 3 car garage filled to the brim with unopened boxes. although Mrs. Moose has declared the kitchen will be open tomorrow after we shop for food!

Still much to do but the computer booted without a hitch and am now connected via Verizon DSL. No TV  until next Friday and we, surpriusingly, did not miss it. We will be up for the start of the pro football season next week.

So, enuf about me - how's by you? Anything exciting happen while I was on my hiatus?

Glad your move went OK, Tom! That's funny....computer set up BEFORE the kitchen!! I don't know if I'd get away with that! tongue.gif

Enjoy the next three weeks or so before the er, gentle precipitation sets in. wink.gif Tended to be 3rd week of September, every year, except the first year I lived there ('91-92 - didn't rain until end of October, had 80 degree weather until then and then 75 degree weather and lots of sun starting again in March - a rather extraordinary weather year all round).

6 years later, I still miss Oregon...it's a great place to live!

Who needs a TV when you have the net?  biggrin.gif And welcome to "my" corner of the world, Tom; I take it that you DO have an umbrella, right?

For sure 'tis a Moose that brings joy to all. Welcome home (in a manner of speaking). You have been missed!

Maybe you can just bypass Jag and go straight to Panther. Devilish2.gif

Hey, MM . . .

Shouldn't the title of this thread, more properly, read . .The Moose has returned to the Forest (mostly) Primeval! clap.gif

Dee-lighted to hear that the move went well.

OK everybody...the bus is waiting....let's all go to Oregon...seems to be some SECRET there we need to find out about!

Seriously...it is a beautiful state. Was stationed in Idaho for a while when I was in the Air Force...passed through Oregon. Awesome mountains!  smile.gif

Enjoy Mama Moose!
