Title: Where does Apple Mail store attachments?
Post by: kimmer on September 14, 2003, 05:51:00 PM
I'm still in 10.1.5 (Jag is next weeks project once Sneakers installs my new HD! YEAH!!!!!!!), and I'm trying out Apple Mail as I'm considering moving to it in Jag.

Eudora has an "Attachments" folder, and I can go grab things out of there, but I can't figure out where Apple Mail stores all these things.

Anyone know? And how do I get attachments to various places on my HD?

As far as I know kimer. It doesn't do anything with them. smile.gif

They just set there until you choose to Save them somewhere.

If you have a single button mouse CONTROL-Click should work.

Do that and it should give you an option to save them wherever. smile.gif

You should be able to just drag them from mail to the desktop. Or if you just want to view it, a single click will open it in the application assigned to that type of file.

Thanks kelly and mike. If I understand correctly, it's more like a "database" type thing. I can live with this. wink.gif

Impatiently waiting for someone to wake up and be alert so I can watch as my new HD is installed. YEAH for me! clap.gif
