I want to add a Mircrophone to my Quicksilver 933 which does not have an audio-in jack.
I'm thinking of going with this USB microphone.
Logitech USB microphone
Do I need to add a card of any sort? Since the QuickSilver has USB built in I'm guessing it would be plug and play but I just thought I'd ask. Maybe someone has done this.
in advance.

Haven't used it but it looks like Plug and Play to me Gary.

At least for OS X.
If you already have a Microphone you might consider the Griffin iMic.

Hey Gary, I bought the Griffen iMic about 1 1/2 yrs. ago, and have had absolutely NO trouble with it; I'm running a tuner and a record player through it (not at the same time!), and it works perfectly. . .

iMic.....I missed it.
I left for Wausau and I bought the Logitech microphone and a set of Altec Lansing speakers with a sub woofer and 2 tweeters. It ought to work well. I'm tired of the Apple Pro speakers....no bass.
I may get the iMic too, now that I know about it. I suppose I have to buy that from Apple.????
I bought the Logitech microphone and the Altec Lansing speakers at Best Buy. I got the speakers for $39.95...$10 off the regular price.

I got the Griffen iMic- Great for audio in, but the audio out has very poor bass, especially when going into an external component amp (not as bad when going into an all-in-one stereo.
hope you enjoy it

Thanks Peter.
I haven't hooked them up yet. They're actually a present for my son's birthday. He asked for them so....kind of killing 2 birds with one stone.
