Hi pdp. Welcome to the Forum.
Madonna fan?
That's an old one for sure. Hope you didn't pay much for it.
Read about it here.

And here.

The newest mac laptops are 1 Gigahertz. Or 1000 Megahertz.
What you've got is 33 Megahertz.
Does that put it in perspective?
Are you sure you can't swing $189 for something like this?

P- That's a great price on a 3400. You can get an Ethernet card for $70 and now you have DSL or Cable internet. The 540 will $20 you to death if you start adding on to it. I don't think anything over 7.5.5 would be worth using on a 33mhz box....

Thank you for the advice I am going to go with the $189 deal

Ok.
That machine will do word processing and Web surfing ok.
Don't expect a lot more than that. Like new games.
We'll be here for any more questions you have.
Good luck.
