Title: Burning a DVD from OS 9.2.2?
Post by: Gary S on October 15, 2003, 01:59:51 PM
Is it possible to burn a DVD from OS 9.2.2?

I want to do it on my Quicksilver that has 10.2.8/Classic and 9.2.2 on separate drives. If i boot to the 9.2.2 drive and insert a DVD into the SuperDrive it gives me a message asks me if i want to initialize it...Doesn't recognize it...

The reason I want to do it is so I can burn a lot of graphics files that are in Pictureviewer format instead of Preview.

Maybe it can be done from classic? huh.gif

Gary, I don't know about Apple's burner (or anyone elses for that matter), but according to Roxio's literature, Toast 5.x will burn DVDs in 9.x. Since Toast is now at v6.0, the older version should be priced right (And it also works with Jag. But Panther? I dunno).
