Anyway, Bill as usual is correct.

Ackkk, did I actually say that?  

Out of purely selfish reasons I changed the allowed pixel size to the maximum from the default. Max is now 72, default is 48.

If you want yours to show up at a particular size you can designate how many pixels in your control panel. If your old avatar was made to only be 48 pixels originally and is now 72, it may be a bit blurry. Should you prefer the smaller size just enter 48x48 in the size boxes.

I made a new avatar for myself from the files snuffysbluff sent me (thanks again, Gary ) containing the caricature of me he made for my birthday banner from '01.

It was barely visible at 48 pixels so Jennie graciously hinted at raising the max, which I did.

Thanks Krissell - reckon mine looks better from 'a greater distance'.  (My [Scottish] father always reckoned the bagpipes sounded better from a distance..... ideally, he said, at least 10 miles away....   )
