Title: Panther software
Post by: () on October 25, 2003, 10:22:45 AM
wanting to know if any one already installed Panther on their system and tell all the + & -'s about it.

Is it actually faster?

Whatever input you panther users have, spill it....

Hi Tonye--You'll see those reports start appearing in this thread. As usual, our resident thrill seeker, Pendragon, was the first to take the plunge and post a report! You'll see the first report about half-way down the thread. biggrin.gif

I installed Panther on my G4/400 MHz Powerbook. Runs faster and the only problem I have is that the "c" key has to be held down longer to type the letter. A pain. Didn't do this before the install. Tried just doing the update, but srewed the system up, had to wipe and do a fresh install.

Now I'm installing on my G4 desktop 1GHz, wiping the drive and installing fresh.
