Lots of good examples of the two basic styles of error pages. (What do you think Emily Post would have said about the need for error page 'styles'?!)
I think Gary's are styled after M$ server messages. Paddy's show what can happen when more than text is allowed. Here's what I use at a site I'm working on for our Air Force UPT reunion. It's definitely not original, I make a comment about who I stole it from.
