Title: Mac OS X peculiarity

After several hours of being logged into Jaguar the icons stop appearing dark when selected. They still are selected but you can't see that they are. If I log off and log back in they appear as they are suppose to.

What is happening? Anybody else see this?

Particulars:

PowerBook G3
MacOS X (Jaguar) 10.2.4
640 MB RAM

It's a new one on me...never heard of this happening before.
