I was just recently asked to help out a friend who has a Dell notebook and some worms, so I got it here and I’m posting on it now. It’s a Dell Inspiron 2650. 15 inch screen a bit heavy, but so far I haven’t caught anything from it that Ajax won’t wash off.
While sitting here in the Archie Bunker Easy chair I noticed the heat actually burning my legs. No smoke yet, but real close.
WoW I need some asbestos lap pads to use this thing!

This is just another thing to consider when buying a notebook/powerbook, the heat is really a distraction.
