Title: Apache and Sendmail.
Post by: cdub1988 on March 05, 2003, 01:31:00 PM
Need help from someone who's successfully set this up.

I have Apache running with proper file permissions on the cgi-bin and yet CANNOT seem to get the PHP module to work right.

The LoadModule and AddModule lines for php4 are uncommented in the httpd.conf file and I added the lines for AddType for the php and php-source.

Also, I have Sendmail partially running, with SMTP working but POP denying access (refusing connections).

Has anyone got Apache running on Jaguar with PHP properly?

Also, as far as Sendmail goes, I checked the inetd.conf file and uncommented the pop3 line to enable that to run at startup.

Before I modified the inetd file, I couldn't telnet into the POP server at all, but after enabling that, I could and got a response.

The SMTP server responded just fine the whole time it was configured.

ANY help is much appreciated.

Take care.

Chris

Bonehead mistake on the Apache thing.

Got it figgered out.

Sorry.

Still need help with the POP server, though.

Thanks again, all.
