Executive Summary:
Slick as glass
The Task
Get the right video card for our G4 so that Grandma (via a new 20" cinema display) can enjoy her several hours each day on the 'net and in word processing.
Results:
How do you spell d-a-z-z-l-i-n-g
Delivery was on-time and successful (meaning = the secret was kept). This was/is a birthday/anniversary/Christmas/Valentine's gift.
Even the display's box had been elegantly engineered.
Total time for Radeon 9000 install and hook-up of the display < 10 minutes.
The easel support is, also, a work of art.
PS: Thanks to every TS-friend who offered advice last week on the sseveral issues that arose in planning a proper purchase and installation.

Cool. So has Mrs. RHP seen it yet?

Oh, absolutely . . . first thing this morning . . . though "first thing" for her provided me more than enough time to get it running, so simple was the set-up. Surprise doesn't quite express her first reaction.
She is delighted. Very crisp fonts (my principal concern, you may recall) especially at 1344x840. Striking colors. Resolution changing is a breeze. Easel is a real winner for the way she prefers to view the "presentation".
Just imagine how it compares to her 10-12 year old Radius

Good job!
