Ok, so there is no applying for beta testing, anyone can do it. I would just like to get as many people trying out my software before I release it to the rest of world. Basically, I would like anyone that has a free minute to download the final beta of my DiveTableX software, and give it a quick spin.
Many things have been updated since the last test, including compiling for MacOS X 10.1.x and later (if anyone has 10.1.x, PLEASE test it), a minimum surface interval checker, and even printing (this is something I want everyone to try, as printers are not created equally).
It's compiled as Deployment this time, so there should be no problems with ZeroLink. Thanks to everyone who helped find this last time.
The new link is http://www.bhsweb.dk/giantmike/DiveTableXbeta.hqx (84 KB).
Thanks to all for your help!

Mike: I put in some figures and it calculated fine. It printed nicely on an Epson 740 and Epson 900 photo printers.
I am on 10.3.2

Thanks gmann!
Anyone else up for some pre-release software?

Everything worked fine on my end, and fast( launch time, calcs, menus) ...350 G4 sawtooth | 10.3.2 |
Good job GM.

Good to hear! I think I will put this thing up on my site over the weekend, and then notify Versiontracker on Monday. I know there have been a lot of people waiting for this (I have gotten numerous emails about it). I'm glad to finally get this thing completed.

GM,
I'm having trouble downloading it on Safari or Netscape. All I get is an empty page at that link.
-
Gary, it looks like the server has gone down. I'll have to contact the guys who run it. Hopefully they can get it back up soon, I'm ready to upload the software now!

Mike,
I looked at the "Important Diving Rules" there is a couple of missing spaces, miss spellings and sentence structure problems. I would suggest copying the contents of the 'Important Diving Rules' and pasting it into a wordprocessor and do a spelling & Grammar check.
Hope It Helps

thanks a bunch mooregr. I was planning on doing that shortly after I put the text in there. I guess with all the other stuff I was working on, I completely forgot. I have run it through a spell checker to fix those mistakes, and have read through it to corret any grammatical errors I found (even though I'm not the best grammer check person in the world).
After fixing that, I have released the software to the world. The webpage (http://www.bhsweb.dk/giantmike) has been updated with a new link to the program, version history, and more. At the begining of next week, I will notify VersionTracker, MacUpdate, Apple Products Guide, and whomever else I can think of.
Thanks to everyone for their help!

Oh man, these places are quick! I didn't even tell them about it, but MacUpdate and Versiontracker already have the new updates listed.
