Awhile back somebody mentioned a program that would list all of your Quicktime  mess so you could see them all to eliminate duplicates.

 I couldn't find it in the archives. Any Help?. G-4 933 ,9.2.2 ,10.1.3.

I have probably 40 associated items involving Quicktime. From Os8.6.(2) 9.2.2  installs, and 10.1.3 install. I know i don't need all of it . I thought  this program would make easier to cull. Thanks for the Reply.

That's not much clearer. You mean from teh installation of Quicktime in each OS?

Each OS needs all the Quicktime components. And they should all be located in the System folders for each OS. As far as what's installed in Application folders... you can safely remove the "sample" files from allteh installs.

Here you go. I don't think it works with OSX but it works good with 9x.

Thanks Gary and Scott. I tried Thing Reporter not much help. I'll do the comparison  for elimination  of duplicates and old revisions.

 What i tried to say was i transferred my 8.6  components into 9.2.2.
 Later i crashed and reinstalled 9.2.2. Then updated Quicktime.
 In so doing i ended up with 63 components of quicktime.
 Comparison is a long drawn out affair. Iwas thinking there might be a better , faster way.  Thanks for the help.
