Title: 'Passphrase' problem in Panther

One of my colleagues has just upgraded his iMac to run Panther and is having a problem relating to passphrases.

He has downloaded Safari from the Apple website and when trying to install it is asked for a 'passphrase'. He has no knowledge of having input a passphrase at any stage. He's tried running from the startup disc but on restart is asked for the passphrase each time.

Can anyone help?

Ok Paul. Most Installers will ask for a password. smile.gif
