Wonder if that would plug into the back of my 933,   so as to run alongside my Apple 17" LCD.

Depends. What Video card do you have?  

it has an analog connection. Do you have a VGA connector on your Card?

I do have a 15 pin connector that is not in use. It may be interesting to try out the dual monitor setup.  Although the Dell is analog and probably won't be as A1 as the Apple 17" LCD that I currently have I might just give it a go.  I was watching an Apple G4 with two LCD's working and was intrigued by the setup.
