I love your new sight for it's speed and appearance but would like to make one comment that I hope won't ruffle any feathers.
It took about a minute for me to realize that creating a "New Post" was now a "Topic."
Just wondering, since the word "POST" has been used in forums ever since I can remember, if anyone else thought that "POST" would be more "user friendly."
P.S. WOW! Did I say I LOVE THE NEW SITE?

Actually with the old design the term POST was used as a verb. The buttons said "Post New Topic", "Post a Poll" and "Post Reply".
The present setup merely eliminates the verb and uses the nouns.

Forgot to say thanks, we knew TSers had good taste.
... and no you didn't ruffle any feathers....there are scales on this skin.

I stand corrected.
But I still wonder if it could be changed back to the old way, verb and all. I just believe it is much clearer for old or new users.

Rick: This is a work in progress, so how about "we'll look into it."
And, I'm looking into moving the UBB code buttons, up next to the reply window, but it ain't easy.

Another "look into". Maybe not this week, but it is on the list.

Eliminating the adjective is perhaps most confusing. Forget the verb that looks like a noun. "New Topic" or "New Poll" would do the trick. OK, OK, as opposed to "old" ones, right?

Certainly would agree with having the UBB buttons (Graemlins too?) next to the reply window. That is a great idea and recognize your challenges in doing so.
Thanks for all the HARD WORK.

I don't see the need to change much...just that...um...
well it's been bothering me that Jennie's cup isn't using nearly all the space that's allowed and you could drop the background also...via the "first pixel" thing and...
Don't hurt me.
