Is there any sort of guage that can be applied to the durability of batteries?
I currently use an old 350 iMac with a gazillion hours on it. (16 out of 24 X 3 years).
I have an older Centris and SE and + that are not often used these days, but still fire up and run when asked.
I've never replaced the battery in any of my Macs. Does that explain why I still think like Steve and Woz may have in the 80's?

Roger, I have PRAM Battery Checker 1.02 running on OS9.2.2
I don't know if there's a more recent version. You put it in the startup items folder and forget it. When the battery starts to run low, it warns you.
