Over-all very enjoyable... Shania Twain was an excellent host sporting various outfits throughout the evening highlighting the Canadian NHL team logos...
Shania herself won the Artist of the Year award and young and upcoming Avril Lavigne won the New Artist of the Year award... both won a couple of single awards... Sis and I were impressed by both of these superb Canadians...
Memorable quote by Shania as she chatted with band members from Swollen Members in the audience and afterward turned to converse with Alana Morrisette... when finished chatting she turned back to the fellows behind her and said... "Sorry for my butt guys, I'd take a seat but I'd never sit on a swollen member."

Dream , I didn't see the awards...but loved the "quote" from Shania. They have just started playing her latest...(probably another cut from the album) "Forever" (only part of the title) , fantastic song. Love her voice...such wonderful range. Her "Butt" aint bad either.

"Forever And For Always"... yes, from her new album... she sang it on the show.
Her "butt"... yeah, and her voice, her hair, great sense of humour... the whole package...
