I'm attempting a modest project involving placing a caption with a photo (via Adobe PhotoShop Elements - the version just before 2) and then printing mutiples, via a picture package.
The problem is I can't figger-out how to put my caption in some white space beneath each photo in "the package", or for that matter, in white space beneath even a single photo. Captions seem to be superimposed on the picture and this is not what I'm hoping to accomplish.
What control/menu/whatever do I look for to achieve this, if it's possible at all?
A solution to my puzzlement will be greated appreciated.

RHP,
You need to resize the canvas.
Go to Image->Resize->Canvas size. You will then be given a choice as to how to resize the canvas. You could put a strip along the bottom, top, etc. and put your type in there. Play around with it.
I hope that's what your looking for.

Oh my gracious!
Now the truth is o-u-t about how little I yet understand about APE, much as I enjoy using it for what I do understand.
Thank you so much. I'm really grateful for the lightning quick assist, Gary.
It worked like a charm. Plus, now I know what "thread" to follow in the manual, too. Even that was obscure. Some of us need HELP to use HELP. Now ain't that sumthin'?

I'm glad that was it Dick.
I wasn't sure if that's what you were after.
There's so much in those Graphic programs it is sometime hard to see the forest from the trees.
