Title: 9.1 Printer Problem

I have a 7600 with sonnet G4 upgrade. I just installed 9.1 on the 2nd HD and I am unable to choose the printer . When I go to the chooser it seem to be selected but when printer is selected keep getting message unable to printer document please go to chooser and select the printer.   When I boot with 8.6 HD it prints ok.  ??? Help.

What type of printer is it?

Would help to have a few more details.

Otherwise, it will be difficult to diagnose.

I'm having a similar problem, which I just wrote about on another string (didn't see this one).

I'm going to boot up from the 8.5 CD and see if the printer works properly.

Thanks for the inputs, I think I have finally solve the problem. First I went to the Extension manager and  changed to the basic os ext. and rebooted.  Printer worked so I started the extension elimination process.  I t appeared to be a control panal that I didn't really reconize and I threw it in the trash. I emptied the trash before I noted exactly what it was but it had to do with Fonts and it was something that was on the computer when I got it .  After that it seems to be working fine.
