2003 / OSX AOL heeeeeelp?
« on: May 03, 2003, 06:29:00 PM »
Hi,
I was running AOL for OS X on my OSX. It WAS working. I tried to delete everything. Some stuff says "This operation could not be completed because this item is owned by root" I dont know what that means.
I found the installer log though. And when I tried to uninstall it. It says.. Error Deleting:
and lists a BUNCH of stuff. The first one listed is pppotcptool -1. all of them have the number -1 after them. Then it lists what was deleted.
I also found something that said AOL.crash.log
when I open that it says:
Command: AOL PID: 474
Exception: Exc_Bad_Instruction (0x20002)
Code [0] : 0x00000002code [1]:
0xa02212a0
Then it lists Thread 0-11 with numbers listed under those with codes? it's computer lingo. Some of the threds next to them say crash.
So, after all this. It still doesn't install or uninstall. ?? Y can't my computer just tell me what the problem is? It'd make my and the computers life easier! So, any other suggetions??? thanks!
