2003 / Airport Extreme

Hi,
I am confused about what all I need to go wireless. I have an iMac 600, 256MB, 10.1.5
I live in a little town that just got an ISP a few years ago. Ancient phone lines and only connect a 26400. No providers for DSL. Can Airport Extreme help me? What all do I need? Card, base station, antena?
? Please anyone, help me with any info.
