2003 / Multiscan 115AV won't work on a MAC IIsi??

Sorry for delay in getting back, I have the  IIsi multisyc adapter designed for the IIsi. Also I had a regular multiscan 15 on there before but it had some internal problems and would have cost more to fix than a new one. As far as I know the adapter is supposed to work and oh yeah there are no switches on it. I am currently reburning he disk and reinstalling the OS 7.5 and updating to 7.5.5. It still seems to be not working it seems to send a signal to the monitor but wont boot it up. Like I said before if I fiddle with the plug into to mac and I can get it set to a pale blue on the screen it seems to stay on. When I put it all the way in it has a great picture for about 20-30 seconds then goes black. I have removed and "sleep " extensions as well as any"power on/off" extensions as well. Thanks for the help !!! thumbup.gif

2003 / Multiscan 115AV won't work on a MAC IIsi??

I have an old Mac IIsi and the old Multiscan 15 monitor died. I found a Multiscan 15AV at a local reseller and they said it worked fine. I used the special IIsi adapter and hooked it up and nothing black screen. It trys to boot it but eh power button flashes after I turn it on. I think I have all the right software installed (have the 7.5.5OS on there). If i fiddle with the cable it comes on for about 10-20 seconds and the picture is great!! but then it winks out again. If ifiddle some more and can get it to use only one color(light blue) the screen stays on, not very pretty to look at.It has a new PRAM battery as the other was still the original installed battery. I am kind of really confused as to what the problem is and  sure could use some help. I have checked all the online manuals I can find am not getting much info that is useful. Any suggestions or hepl will be appreciated.
