Hi,
I'm just wondering why the Activity Monitor shows the System Memory as Shown,

Wired; 146.86 MB
Active; 167.31 MB
Inactive; 812.33 MB
Used ; 1.10 GB
Free; 409.50
VM size; 6.70 GB
Page ins/outs; 78574/174

I have 1.5 gigs of ram and all I have is 409.50 MB of free, I have nothing open. I did have a bunch of stuff open before, but closed everything, is this normal with OSX.

Thanks kelly,
I got Divix installed, I'm pretty sure I used Quicktime with OS9, but a older QuickTime. I think QuickTime is opening less and less stuff. Wasn't there some kind of Codec' file or something like that,??

Hi,
I'm trying to open some AVi files I had in 0S9 and quicktime Pro won't open them so I went to my backup. VLC, that didn't work, so I went to my second backup, Mplayer, that didn't work.
Does anyone have other players that might work, I used to open them in 0S9.
I need to open them in 0SX,

Thanks for all the replies,
I need a DVI to Video Adapter, So I can hook to a television. Apple Had it for years until the G5 came out now they say its just for the G5.

Thanks Anyway.

Heres what I need for my G4 not G5,

DVI to Video Adapter

The Apple DVI to Video Adapter was designed specifically to allow Power Mac G5 systems users to connect from the DVI port to S-video or Composite video devices such as TVs, VCRs, or overhead projectors with S-Video or RCA (Composite) connectors. The Apple DVI to Video Adapter is designed to work with the DVI port on the Power Mac G5 system only.

Use a separate DVI to VGA Adapter for VGA video out for Power Mac G5 (included with all Power Mac G5 systems or available for order as a standalone kit).

Hi,

I got a Toshiba SD-1800
                       SD-310V

The above is what it says on the front of the manual.
We just bought it about 2 months ago.

Here's what the manual says,

This DVD video player supports VIDEO CD's equipped with the PBC (version 2.0) function. (PBC is the abbreviation of Playback Control). You can enjoy two playback variations depending on types of discs.

VIDEO CD not equipped with PBC function
(Version 1.1)
Sound and movie can be played on this DVD video player in the same way as an audio CD

VIDEO CD equipped with PBC function, (Version 2.0)
In addition to operation of a VIDEO CD not equipped witrh the PBC function you can enjoy playback of interactive software with search function by using the menu displayed on the TV  screen (Menue Playback) Some of the functions described in the owners manual may not work with some discs

No it downloads to the desktop when I use the option key and the ones that do work are on the desktop.

Ok, I finally got it. ZeroLink is a part of the development tools, used to help debug and compile code faster. I had to turn that off in some crazy place, and now it properly works on my iBook. Only drawbacks to it seem to be much slower compile times, and a larger application. However, I guess that is the price you pay for compatibility.

So, now that I have that figured out, could you please try it one more time. The new file is at   http://www.bhsweb.dk/giantmike/newDiveTableX.hqx

Thanks a ton for your help!
