iphoto - updated - where are my photos
« on: July 16, 2006, 11:59:01 AM »
I have a nice iphoto library, and I just updated OSX 10.4.7

I went to iphoto and saw all my pictures on Friday, and then I was asked to update the thumbnails. Complied and lost all the photos - all the albums are saying 0?

What happened?

iphoto 6.0.4.

The library says 0

The memory though register 490.4MB.

How do I get to see my photos?

Check BootingHardDrive/Pictures/iPhoto Library/. If there are several files there, you should still be OK. I think you should have one labeled "Library6.iPhoto" but I wound'nt Delete any of them. Seems I remember this being a 'feature' of the last OS upgrade. The fix was to simply drag that "Library" folder out onto the Desktop, Log OUT/IN, and drag it back to the correct spot. Then repeat the Log OUT/IN.

You might want to check Apple's Forums, also. Uhmm, it appears you have already been there...

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
