my friend jj (mastercheif) said i should do that
i'll do that with my 5200, since i have a 5400 too =]

sounds like a fun project
only problem is the CRT
i'll discharge it by resting the computer in some water

IDEA!
i'll buy some old not-working macs off of eBay cheap
and make them into aquariums...

I can't think of a beige MAC that had a built-in modem.  Mostly they wanted you to buy a standard external modem and hook it up to the serial modem port.  As long as you could still find Hayes type modems that weren't Winmodems this was a great idea; but it's kind of hard to find those anymore!
