Multiple USB Printers/Airport Redux...
« on: September 09, 2006, 07:38:22 PM »
This is a continuation of a topic begun in another thread...

Today I came across this Apple support document.

"AirPort Extreme Base Station (PoE/UL 2043)

When you have base station firmware 5.5 or later, you can connect up to four USB printers to the base station via a USB hub."

So apparently up to four USB printers can be shared wirelessly and I assume that current Airport Extreme Base Stations have at least firmware version 5.5.

Now where can I find out which firmware my base station is using?  I haven't been able to find it under System Profiler...

Mayo...

Go to the Utilities folder and dbl. click on the Airport Admin Utility...
The version will be displayed as the last line in the window that opens...
Mine says v 5.7..
