Ive not played with it much, as I love Google Earth with its new great imagery, and controls. But it looks good.

Actually they are not new, but I just found them today.

And another site that has some good stuff.
I liked this one,,,,,,

Lots of links to take a look at.  Fun.

Thanks. Too bad the nasa thing is not for Macs.

That Tedtalks site has some great videos of the speeches a number of people made at their conference last winter.

I enjoyed the ones by Julia Sweeney and (yes) even Al Gore.

But the one I really got into was by David Pogue:

For mapping I quite like MS's Live Local. The aerial views are maybe not up to date (they aren't in my area) but it's quite spectacular for some areas. You need to choose the "aerial" as opposed to the "road" view to get the full effect. Some locations also offer an "birds eye" view. Quite spectacular. You can try looking at Brighton in East Sussex in England to get an idea of what's on offer. I only found that one as I lived there many years ago and was looking for something else to jog my memory biggrin.gif

I couldn't get some of these neat mapping things to work on my Mac either.
Google Earth sure wins, they run away with first place!

I did look at www.zillow.com with Firefox, and they have some really nice photos of our area.  Its a real estate site, and the photos look like you would see from a small plane, only sadly here they are only black and white.
The photo of my brother's house looks as if its taken from one of those Traffic Copters, its really clear and close.  But the pictures of our house(only 4 miles from his) are not anywhere near as good.
