The examples look really nice, but we can do this with Photoshop.
Yet, it looks like it would be quick.
But I think you have to have a camera that shoots in RAW mode.

I should have read your post before starting a new one about the winning image you have linked to!
That image is also on the cover of the journal Science ( Sep 22 issue ). Graphic artist Luc Benard and mathematician Richard Palais used the
free
3D-XplorMath program to create the figures and Bryce to add the textures. All done on a Mac, of course, the computer of choice for creative types!
The graphic artist.
The mathematician.
Are all 'professors' named "Richard"?

My husband, Richard, gets Science News and Scientific American and others, but I had not heard of Journal Science, shall see if he wants it. We get enuf magazines, but can always make room for another if its good.
Thanks,

Thanks for the link, I will have him take a look at it.
There are so many great science magazines.
Next summer when they set up his big telescope up in the mountains(no light pollution at our daughter's in-laws vacation house), they will have a great time looking thru that thing.
And I will have to get them that Astronomy magazine that I cant remember the name of at the moment, a copy is at the house in Maine.
